I love being healthy

I love the feeling of being healthy. I have always been good about exercising. I love a good run. My weakness is that I love sweets. That is horrible with Christmas coming, cause I always gain weight during the holidays, and this year I have a wedding during the holidays. I found this awesome blog that has healthy recipes. I have tried a couple, and they are really good. This week I am making popcorn krisspie treats and apple cinnamon slices if/when I need something a little sweet. Apple Cinnamon Slices
Apple Dippers from McDonald (35 calories) 1 table spoon of Ground cinnamon (10 calories) 2 packets of splenda (0 calories) 1 tablespoon of “I can’t believe it’s not butter” (5 calories)  Cook in a skillet until glazed. You can even add some fat free reddi whip for an extra five calories


Popcorn Krispies Treats
Calories 68
Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Orville Redenbachers Original Popcorn Air-popped
  • 1/2 Tbsp Non Fat Butter
  • Jet-Puffed Marshmallow 1 Large
  • Fat Free/Sugar Free Jell-O White Chocolate Pudding Mix 1/4 Package (You can also use different flavors!, I really like the butterscotch too)
Directions
  • Air pop the popcorn in either a brown paper bag in the microwave or over the stove. 
  • In a separate bowl add Butter, Marshmallow, and Pudding Mix.
  • Microwave until it forms a liquid paste.
  • Add cup of popcorn to liquid paste and stir quickly.
  • Form into ball and place on wax paper
  • Let it cool
