Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Wow, I am never really one of those people that gets way into Halloween, but this year I did, and it was super fun! I was lucky enough to get this last Friday off from clinicals, the day off definatly came when I really needed it. I spent probably doing 24 hours doing 2 care plans for school this last week, on top of the usual tests and homework, so I decided after I finished everything up on Thursday I was not going to touch any of my nursing stuff til Monday, and I have not touched it so far! Friday I went down to state volleyball in Provo to cheer on the Trojans with Mom, that was fun! We went shopping in between games, and then after wards I stayed down in Provo and played with some friends! SO much fun! Oh and by the way the girls took state again! Keepin the tradition alive! Then Saturday I headed back up to Logan and just spent all day playing! I carved pumpkins, colored Halloween pictures, played games, went to the first basketball game of the season (go Aggies!), watched scary movies, went to dinner, went to like 3 different parties, and just had so much fun! Glad I put my homework aside and just played lots! Happy Halloween everyone!

Beginnings of nursing school!

I have officially made it pass the first seven weeks of nursing school! Never thought I would see the day! It probably has been some of the most stressful weeks of my life, but I am pretty sure I have learned more than I thought I could, and I still have 2 more years! Sheesh! If any of you want me to give you a shot, I would be more than happy to oblige! They are actually super fun, I would of never thought they could be, considering I am terrified to get shots! I will post more about the other things in my life sometime in the near future! It has been awhile!:) As for now I am done! Peace!

Love Like Crazy

So I am in LOVE with this new country song...I was recently on vacation, and everyday I made Tom play it like a million times on his phone because I love it so much! So I thought I would post the lyrics, cause they are so cute! The song is called "Love Like Crazy", by Lee Brice. If you have a chance you really should listen to it!

They called him crazy when they started out
Said seventeen's too young to know what loves about
They've been together fifty-eight years now
That’s crazy

He brought home sixty-seven bucks a week
He bought a little 2 bedroom house on Maple Street
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed
Yeah that’s crazy

Just ask him how he did it; he'll say pull up a seat
It'll only take a minute, to tell you everything
Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when he quit his job
Said them home computers, boy they'll never take off
He sold his one man shop to Microsoft
They paid like crazy

Just ask him how he made it
He'll tell you faith and sweat
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget

Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

Always treat your woman like a lady
Never get too old to call her baby
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when they started out
They've been together fifty-eight years now

Ain't that crazy?

Silly Boys!

I just needed a quick little vent for the day....I think we all need them every so often.  So why are boys so stinkin silly? Really, what is with them, any opinions girls? The ones you like either come around at the wrong time, they play you, or they lead you on, or they expect you to do all the work. The ones you don't like are way to obsessed with you and do way weird things and do creepy things.  It is like the more awkward guys have the most guts.  I also need to learn to say no! I am so glad that I am leaving on vacation to get away from silly boys! That is all I have for this Tuesday morning! Peace!

Wake up in the morning feeling like P-Diddy.....

WOW! What a fun weekend! I have been going all weekend long!  I will give the short run down, and I always think that pictures are so fun, so I put up a couple to share!  Yesterday a bunch of my friends decided that we wanted to hike the windcaves up Logan Canyon, this was a good idea and all except for the fact that we did not leave the apartments until 7:30 thinking that there would be plenty of sunshine to make it all the way up and back before dark, little did we know we hiked for about an hour and decided that we needed to go back because it was so dark, little did we know we were literally 5 minutes away from the wind caves so we hiked all the way up and got to see nothing! After we got back down we decided we wanted to go visit our friend Amber who had to work at the Olive Garden so we went over about 9:30 and got filled up on some yummy breadsticks and salad and for dessert we ran over to Charlies and got frozen yogurt. It was a pretty fun night. Then Saturday came and we sure had an eventful day.  I do not want to blab on about the long fun day, but I was able to get up and do a 8 mile run, then a couple of my friends and I went to the farmers market which was kinda lame, I am not going to lie, afterwards two other girls and I went to the Logan Temple (and it was GORGEOUS!) to do baptisms, and then after that we went CLIFF JUMPING!!!!!!!!!!! Holy cow, I have never been cliff jumping before so I was super scared when we went, but know that it is said and done I will for sure be doing it again! We went up to Porcupine Dam and once we got to the parking we did not realize we had to swim across the whole lake to get to the cliffs, which for me seemed super tough, and it was! First of all I HATE fish in the water they are so slimy and scary, and there were loads of fish, and second of all I am not the best swimmer by any means.  After the freakin deadly swim we got to the cliffs. They had a 10 foot, 15 foot, 25 foot, and 35 foot jump.  Everyone else was way brave and at least did the 25 foot, me being the wus that I am could barely do the 10 foot one, and that was because the stinkin boys push me in! Which by the way I will for sure be getting them back for that! Anyways once I got pushed in I ended up being able to do the 15 foot one! It took me the entire afternoon to even get in the water, but it finally happend. After we were done cliff jumping we just decided we wanted to chill so we went and watched Get Smart, which by the way is hilarious. So if anyone has not seen it, I would highly recommend it! It has been a fun filled weekend! And p.s. I finally decided which nursing school I want to do for the fall! Wahoo!:)

Vegas Ragnar!

Come October 22-23 I will be running in the Las Vegas Ragnar Relay Race! I am  so excited!:) My good friend Kara asked me this last weekend to run with her and her husband and some of their family. I am so happy that she asked me! I do however really need to train lots! I run a bit, but I need to be doing about 10 more miles than what I have been doing so I have started a recommended running program for the race. The running program will be great to help me get into shape not only for the ragnar, but also for the half marathon I will be doing in September. I am so excited!!! I also have decided that I wanted to cut something out until the ragnar race, so on Monday I decided to cut out my Diet Sunkist, yes....NO Diet Sunkist til the end of October, I have only been doing it for 2 and 1/2 days, and it is already hard! Hopefully I will succeed!

Bieber Fever

I may or may not be in love with 16 year old Justin Bieber! Just sayin!

Question of the day?

"If love is not a game, why are there so many players?"

My Bucket List

So today at work, one of a very close resident went down hill very quickly! She is only 50 years old, and I had such a hard time when her cute husband came out in tears to talk with me. It broke my heart! But last week, when she was still capable of communicating and talking we had a great discusion.  Basically, she told me to do everything you can whenever you can and just to love the people around you always. She is such a cute lady! She certainly will be missed by me! But after talking with her, I decided to come up with my bucket list....everything I want to do before I die. Here it is!:)

2. Go skinny dipping
3. Go to Hawaii

I have a new hobby!

I HATE FISH in fact i am terrified of fish! ha ha, but my new hobby just happens to be fishing! Who would of thunk?  So lately what I have been doing is going fishing with someone, and then I make him touch and do all the yucky stuff to it, I won't even look at it,then once he is done we cook the fish and we will eat it! This sounds weird, I know! But it really just feels so cool to catch something! It is like you are good at it! If you don't catch anything there is always next time! It is such an easy sport to do, I do wish you could fish for something else besides fish though! ha ha! But on the plus side, it is just fun to sit and talk while you wait for the fish to bite!:)

Just a quick thought for the day!

Life seems to be speeding past so stinking fast! When does it slow down? It just seems that life is to short! So why not say what you are wanting to say? Why not do what you want to do? Why not life every second like it is your last? Life is certainly hard, but since it is too short we should just focus on what we have in life, and how lucky we really are! I have spent to many years not saying what I want to be saying or doing what I want to be doing...so just from my experience life every second to the fullest! SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY! Love how you always wanted to love! Live how you always wanted to live! This is your one chance in life! There are no do overs! So live with NO REGRETS!

I CAN'T believe I am joining the world of blogging!

Well, here I am, never thought I would do this, but I am!:) I am only doing this because a friend ask me to and I guess it is a good way just to update people or to vent! So life with me, I will catch you all up! I know you are so thrilled! Ha ha!
