As most of you know, my mom was recently diagnosised with cancer. Today we got the results back from the Mayo Clinic, and we know exactly what it is. My mom has a very rare kind of cancer in her uterus. It is a sacroma, and it is pretty aggressive. The cancer has spread to her lungs (that is how we found it when she got pneumnia) and she has a tumor attached to the back to her kidney (its 6.3 inches by 4 inches). It is to risky to take the tumor out, but they have to shrink it, because the tumor is attached to a nerve fiber bundle and is giving her severe pain in her hip. She actually has had this pain for over a year, and they could never figure out what was causing it. Now we know. But since they can not get the tumor out, she will have radiation to try to shrink the cancer, and then she will start chemo. We know this is a pretty nasty cancer, and she is in our prayers. I love my mom so much! She was my best friend before Ethan came around, and she just means the whole world to me. I hate that she has to go through this! I hate the word cancer! It is such a nasty journey that she has to go through! Our whole family is supporting her through this, along with most of Morgan County. As the kids at the high school call her "Super Sherie" is the most amazing woman I know! I love you mom!
