Oh What A Night. The engagement story.

A little backround information. I met Ethan back at the beginning of May. He was over visiting my two new roommates with his friend. I certainly was not intrested in dating him when I met him, but he was persistant and really showed me that he liked me for me. With him being persistant, I ended up falling in love with him. When we got engaged, I did not know that he was going to propose. I thought it would be a little longer. I knew we were getting married, but had no idea that it was going to happen when it did. Now the story....

Ethan designed the ring. We never looked at rings. He just knew that I did not want yellow gold, or a round diamond. The ring could not be more perfect!
SEPTEMBER 13, 2011: I had just gotten home from a 12 hour nursing shift. I was tired and a little kranky. Ethan and I have a little park in Logan up in a place called Cliffside. This was my park even before I met Ethan. It is where I go to think, do homework, take a nap, etc.... When I took Ethan up there for the first time he liked it. We kept going back. We would go to the park to read talks, go on walks, and star gaze. When Ethan came to get me when I was off work, I thought we were going to the park just to read scriptures and a talk. When we got to my favorite place in the park, it overlooks all of Logan including the Temple and the University, we sat on the bench. Ethan pulled out his computer, and he told me he wanted me to read a journal entry that he had written while he got the computer up. The journal entry was Ethan writing to his journal about us from the beginning. Ethan told his journal how we met, the first time he knew he loved me, how he asked my dad for permission, and all the good stuff inbetween. At the end of the long entry the last sentace read "and this brings me to this moment." That is when he got down on his knees and pulled out the ring. And I said YES! After that he played me a song entitled "Grow Old With Me". And the rest is history! I love him so much! I could not of asked for a better man or a better proposal. It was very special to me! And in 49 days, I get to marry my best friend!

V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N

Before Timmers went on his mission he, dad, mom, and I went on vacation one last time. Since he was leaving, he got to choose where we went. Out of all the places to go, he wanted to go do a session in the Navuoo temple. What an amazing kid to make a vacation spiritual. I look up to him so much. We flew out to Ohio, traveled the church history sites, including Navuoo, then flew home. So much fun spending time with my parents and Timmers.
Airport.

Such an amazing dad. Thanks for the vacation!

First taste of summer!

Today I had my first taste of summer....I had my first taste of watermelon! Wahoo! Summer is going to be here sooner than I expected! Along with the watermelon, I got to enjoy the beautiful sunshine, finishing my USU finals (BOO-YAH! Never again am I going to take 22 credits!!!), hanging out with some awesome girls, and actually getting a little relaxation time! I can not wait for a tan body, flip-flops, shorts, playing in the water, bondfires, the summer in logan, trip with the family before Timmers leaves, Matt and Michelle visiting, and just enjoying every ounce of life!:)

I am also so glad that I was able to spend the weekend with my cute little niece LUCY BELL FAUSETT, and her proud parents SaraAnn and Aaron! I was truly blessed to go down and help them with there littles. (There is no way I could of gotten the grades I recieved on my tests that I had today, even if I would have studied 10 hours more.) What remarkable people they are!:) And she is just so adorable.  This makes 11 nieces and nephews for me! And I am one proud aunt!

And I just want to give a shout out to some amazing girls...Melanie, Mystie, and Missy.  I had no idea that I would end up where I am right now, but I can say that I was suppose to be in this nursing program, with these girls and Heavenly Father made certain sure that I stayed up here in Logan, even though I wanted to move a long time ago! They are amazing! I could not have gotten as far as I have without these amazing girls!

....LIFE IS GOOD!:)

Dear girls and guys at the gym...

Dear Self Centered Boys and Fake girls at the gym,

Hello, it is me again.  There is something that we need to discuss.  First off, you do not need to get ready to go to the gym.  Putting makeup on in the locker room before you go workout is kinda sending a message that you are so FAKE, and that you want to pick up on the self centered guys there.  Maybe if you did cake on so much makeup and actually tried to work out, you might get a guy...just sayin.  And for the guys, you think you are all that because you can look in the mirrors and flex, granted that is hot, but seriously get over yourself! That is all for know.  I know it is kinda harsh, but it is the truth.  Kisses.

The is a light at the end of the tunnel...for know!:)

IN 8 MORE WEEKS, 13 MORE CLINICAL DAYS, AND 1 VERY INTENSE BOARD EXAM, I WILL BE AN LPN! WAHOO! This is just a baby step in my education, but it feels good to know that I am going somewhere with my education, and things are actually working out to some extent. I still will have 2 more semesters to get my RN, and then I think I am going to continue on to get a Masters in Health Administration.  But in 3 or so months I will be working as a nurse, and all I can say is I could not be more happy!:)
